Carbon brushes 555.070 are intended for use in aircraft generators.

Electric brushes control the electrical connection between the moving and stationary parts of the generator. They are current-carrying elements on collector motors, due to the current-carrying wire. This wire is an element of the electric brush fittings, which is designed to supply or disconnect current.

The wire is usually made of copper sign ПЩ and is a flexible insulated wire.
